studied Sociology with focus on applied social science research. He completed his PhD in quantitative Political Science at the University of Vienna. From 2009 to 2015, David Johann was a Research Associate in the Department of Methods in the Social Sciences at the University of Vienna. He was a core team member of the Austrian National Election Study (AUTNES). In addition, he actively participated in the work of the Platform for Surveys, Methods and Empirical Analyses (PUMA), a cooperative initiative which aims at establishing a national centre of excellence for quantitative research methods and empirical approaches to social sciences. PUMA also supports high-quality survey research in Austria. David Johann has joined the iFQ-Team in October 2015.
