studied Sociology, Psychology and Economics at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and the Saint Petersburg State University. From 2009 to 2012 she was carrying out research in the field of risk research and regional sciences at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). There she completed her PhD about domestic water supply in rural Viet Nam („Domestic Water Supply in Rural Viet Nam – Between Self-Supply and Piped Schemes“) in 2015. In parallel she was working as a research assistant at the Institute for Research Information and Quality Assurance (iFQ) since 2012. At iFQ she was primarily engaged in the evaluation of the ERC Starting Grant program and a study on PhD training and research careers in Viet Nam. Currently she is carrying out a study on international researchers at German Higher Education Institutions on behalf of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK). Since 2015 she is leading the working group on early career researchers and research careers.
